A US-based beverage brand with its reach all over the world, PepsiCo Beverages North America (PBNA)  has roots that go back to 1898, when Caleb Bradham, a North Carolina based entrepreneur invented Pepsi-Cola and sold it to his pharmacy shoppers. 

Headquartered in the Hamlet of Purchase in Harrison, New York, this American multinational food, snack, and beverage corporation, was formed by the merger of Frito Lay and Pepsi Cola Company in the year 1965, the year Herman Lay, the then CEO of Frito-Lay and Donald Kendall, the then CEO of Pepsi-Cola, recognized this merger as a ‘match made in heaven’. As of December 2018, the company is led by Ramon Laguarta as its CEO and employs around 267,000 people around the world, including approximately 114,000 people within the United States.
