Round 1: The Pitch

The deliverables need to be submitted in not more than 3 slides (converted to PDF format) as per the guidelines mentioned in the case brief.

Round 2: The Plan

Shortlisted teams from Round 1 will move to Round 2. In this round, teams need to develop the idea further and submit the plan as per the guidelines mentioned in the case brief.

Round 3: The Presentation

Teams from Round 2 will present to a jury of CP members. Assured place in the Grand Finale for campuses with 3 or more teams making it to this stage. The tentative timeline for this round is November 2021

Round 4: The Grand Finale / National Round

Winners from the earlier round will move to the Ultimate Round as Grand Finale/ National Round finalists. They will present to the Leadership Team of CP India. Tentative timeline for the national round is Nov- Dec 2021. The award ceremony and declaring the Winners / Runners-up (PPI winners) will follow the Grand Finale.

We invite sharp minds from the top B-Schools in India to participate. This experience offers students an opportunity to work on real-time challenges faced by businesses, interact with experts from the industry, and provide unique solutions to the case at hand.

Eligibility Criteria:

Colgate Transcend 2021 is open to all 1st year and 2nd-year students pursuing full-time 1 and 2-year MBA courses from the following list of eligible institutes:

Team Formation Guidelines: 

  • A team will consist of 3 members (students), the one who registers the team will be the team leader
  • All members of the team should be from the same institute
  • Cross-specialization teams can participate
  • A team can consist of both first and second-year students, irrespective of the specialization
  • A student cannot be a part of more than one team
  • Only full-time 1 and 2-year MBA program students can participate
  • All the team members are required to verify and confirm their details to form a team
  • There is no restriction on the number of teams from an institute
  • Students going on exchange programs can register, provided they register as part of a 3-member team, in which not more than one member is going on an exchange
  • Modification of team post registration will not be allowed

Competition Structure:

Only registered teams will get access to the case study.

Round 1: The Pitch

  • The deliverables need to be submitted in not more than 3 slides (converted to PDF format) on Dare2Compete as per the guidelines mentioned in the case brief.
  • Deadline for Round 1 submission is 8th October 2021, 6:00 AM

Round 2: The Plan

  • Shortlisted teams from Round 1 will move to Round 2. In this round, teams need to develop the idea further and submit the plan on Dare2Compete as per the guidelines mentioned in the case brief.
  • Deadline for Round 2 submission is 17th November 2021

Round 3: The Presentation

  • Teams from Round 2 will present to a jury of CP members 
  • Assured place in the Grand Finale for campuses with 3 or more teams making it to this stage.
  • Tentative timeline: November 2021

Round 4: Grand Finale

  • Winners from the earlier round will move to the Ultimate Round as Grand Finale / National Round finalists. They will present to the Leadership Team of CP India.
  • The virtual Grand Finale will take place on 15th December, 2021
  • The award ceremony and declaring the Winners / Runners-up (PPI winners) will follow the Grand Finale

  • A cash prize of ₹3 Lakhs for Grand Finale Winners & ₹2 lakhs for Grand Finale Runners-up

Terms & Conditions: 

  • All decisions in matters of eligibility, authenticity & final judgments will be with Colgate.
  • The format, structure & timelines of events are subject to change before the actual beginning of the event.
  • If a team fails to submit an entry before the timeline, Colgate holds the right to disqualify the team from the competition.
  • Each team has to resubmit their entry before every round. If it fails to do the same, Colgate holds the right to withdraw their name from the competition.
  • Disputes, if any, will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai only.
