Round 1: Executive Summary Submission Round

The registered teams need to submit a 5-slider executive summary solution in PPT format to present their ideas. The top 8 teams will move to the next round from all campuses.

Round 2: Jury Evaluations

The top 8 teams from the first round will interact with the jury members and business heads from Tata Consumer Products for their idea evaluations. The top 3 teams will move ahead for the Grand Finale.

Grand Finale

Tata Consumer Products presents the first edition of The FNB Challenge - Flourish. Nourish. Build. The competition is our venture into B-School business challenges, where we want to engage with bright minds at campuses to solve critical and real problems at Tata Consumer Products.

Eligibility Criteria: The first-year full-time MBA students from a select list of B-Schools can participate in this competition, irrespective of the specializations they are pursuing. Students currently pursuing part-time, distance learning, and executive MBA programs are not eligible to participate from the same list of B-Schools.

  • National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE), Mumbai
  • Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad

  • Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), Delhi

Team Formulation Guidelines:
  • A team must consist of exactly 3 members.
  • Each member has to register with valid college email ids.
  • A team can be formed with students from cross-specializations.
  • A team can form teams only within the same year of study.
  • A student cannot be a part of more than one team.
  • Each team must be from the same campus.
  • Any deviation from the above-mentioned points will result in the immediate disqualification of the entire team.
  • Modification of team post registration will not be allowed.
Competition Structure:
  • Round 1 - Executive Summary Submissions: The registered teams need to submit a 5-slider executive summary solution in PPT format to present their ideas. The top 8 teams will move to the next round from all campuses.
  • Round 2 - Jury Evaluations: The top 8 teams from the first round will interact with the jury members and business heads from Tata Consumer Products for their idea evaluations. The top 3 teams will move ahead for the Grand Finale.
  • Mentorship Phase: The national finalist teams will get a chance for mentorship with Tata Consumer Products Leaders.
  • Round 3 - Grand Finale: The top 3 teams from the second round will compete in the Grand Finale and present their solutions to the leadership at Tata Consumer Products.
Rewards & Prizes:
  • The winning team will get Pre-Placement Interviews (PPIs) or Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) from Tata Consumer Products.
  • The winning team will receive a cash prize of INR 2,00,000.
  • The national finalist teams will get a chance for mentorship with Tata Consumer Products Leaders.
