A new twist to the traditional round table conferences- the final teams will be given problem statements and goals to fulfill, and they will have to negotiate amongst themselves, and with the panel, to get those goals approved. Navigating through a series of concealed information, conflicting goals amongst teams, and finally, the panelists who will demand a strong case before approving any of the steps suggested, this Round Table Conference is sure to cause a rush in the adrenaline levels as everyone will have to put their best foot forward! 

The competition comprises a quiz round, a case study, and the final round table conference!

Round 1: Quiz

An MCQ-based testing skills across the domains of finance, management, and general aptitude. Speed and number of correct answers will be the criteria for elimination.

Round 2: Case Study Submission

A finance-related case testing how you can navigate through the various strategic roadblocks and connect the dots. The aim is to use pedagogical concepts in this practical case to present an implementable solution.

Round 3: The Round Table Conference 

A virtual conference with different teams representing different stakeholders, testing negotiation skills as well as different concepts of finance and management within the same.

A two-hour-long discussion amongst the 8 finalist teams, each team will have goals known only to them and these goals will be in conflict with the other teams' goals. They have to make sure that they convince the panel of regulators (the judges) who will dynamically keep announcing the requests they approve of or maybe even repeal in the due course of the discussion.

The team with the maximum number of personal goals fulfilled will emerge as the winner. Thus, testing your management skills (in terms of deciding which goals to negotiate for, in which order), your finance skills (in terms of understanding of the broad situation and using appropriate arguments) and finally your negotiation skills (in terms of leading the race against conflicts).

Thus, be ready to put your best foot forward!
