Ecolution: A Green Business Case Competition: Stages and Timelines
Case Solution Submission
Round 1 is an online submission. Participants are required to submit a PPT with 5 slides (maximum) excluding annexure/cover slides or word document of not more than 2 pages outlining the solution.
Case Presentation
Round 2 is an online presentation. The top 6 shortlisted teams will further work on their solution in the previously submitted proposals. This solution will be presented to a panel of judges during the online finals.

Round 1 (Pre-Vista Prelims):
- Round 1 is an elimination round.
- The detailed problem statement will be accessible to registered participants on Dare2Compete after 15th July 2021.
- Participants are required to submit a PPT with max. 5 slides excluding Annexure, Title and Thank You slides or a word document of not more than 2 pages outlining your proposal.
- The proposal should also include an approximate cost estimate and timeframe for implementing the proposed solutions.
- Participants are not required to create an index page. Participants can add a maximum of 1 page of annexures/supporting documents over and above the 2-page limit. In no way, should the 2-page limit be violated.
Round 2 (Finals):
- The shortlisted teams will further work on their solution in the previously submitted proposals.
- The final solution will be a max presentation of not more than 15 slides.
- The teams would be allowed 8 minutes for presentation, followed by 4 minutes of Q&A from the judges.
- Teams will be evaluated on the innovation, technical feasibility, and implementation viability of their proposed plans.
- The participants will need to focus on long-term sustainability and are expected to factor in the environmental impact of their decisions.
- Further details will be shared with selected teams separately.
Rules:
- Registration closes at 6 PM, 25th July 2021.
- Teams must comprise a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 3 members, all of whom must be enrolled in a graduate or a post-graduate program at the time of submission.
- All participants must belong to the same institute.
- An institute can have any number of teams participating. However, if a team member is found participating as a part of more than one team, all such teams shall be disqualified.
- Send the PPT and PDF named as <TeamName>_<CollegeName> via D2C.
- Only the first submissions made by teams before the deadlines will be used.
- All rounds will be conducted online.
The participants must carefully read through and agree to the following Terms & Conditions:
- All decisions in matters of eligibility, authenticity, and final judgments will be with the organizing committee of Vista, Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.
- The format and structure of events on campus could be subject to change before the actual beginning of the event.
- The decisions of the organizers will be final and binding on all participants.
