Quiz on D2C
A 30-minute online elimination round with 20 multiple-choice questions. Teams will be required to be fast and accurate as they are quizzed on the basics of analytics and data science. Top teams get to advance to Lift-Off!
Case Study Round
Shortlisted participants will be provided a case. Teams have to submit a 10-slide presentation (excluding the “Introduction” and “Thank You” slides) with the best possible insights and recommendations they can derive from the given data (Naming convention - Team Name).
Finale: The Panel Round
The top teams from Round 2 will be selected for final presentation where they will present their solution in front of the judges. Presentation skills will be the major deciding factor along with the approach to the case.

Analytics is the systematic computational analysis of data or statistics for discovery, interpretation, and communication of meaningful patterns in data and also it entails applying data patterns towards effective decision making.
FUN-alytics is an Analytics event in DRISHTI- The annual college fest of Symbiosis Institute of Operations Management, Nashik.
We call it, “Data Pub for geeks”, having fun with data is a necessary trait for any analyst. This will test your skills in decision management, out of box idea/thinking, Machine Learning Model and approach, bringing out insights from data thoroughness and many more. So, participate in this competition and hone your analytical skills.
General Guidelines:
- This competition is open to full-time MBA and Engineering students.
- Organizers reserve the right to check the validity of the registration information submitted at any point of time.
- Any deviation from the above will result in immediate disqualification of the entire team.
- There is no restriction on the number of teams from an institute.
- The decision of Organizing Committee will be binding in case of an issue/tie/discrepancy.
Rules for Team Formation:
- Number of members in a team: 1-3
- All the members of a team should be from the same college
- Replacement of any member is not allowed after registration
- A student cannot be a part of more than one team for the same competition.
