Numero Uno: Strategy Case Competition: Stages and Timelines
Round 1: Differentiation (Pre-Vista Prelims)
Business is all about making the right decisions at the right time. Numero Uno provides you with an opportunity to showcase your decision-making and time management skills. Round 1 will be an objective quiz designed to test your finance, marketing, strategy, operations, and human resources acumen in a time-bound scenario.
Round 2: Leadership (Case based Submission)
Limited perceptions shouldn’t define us. Can you identify all the stakeholders and add value to the value chain? This round comprises of a case-based submission wherein the candidates strategize action plan for the given stakeholders. The candidates shortlisted after Round 1 will be evaluated based on their responses to the posed scenario.
Round 3: BoardZoom Discussion
This round allows you to enter into a battle with other champions. Shortlisted participants from Round 2 will qualify for this round, which will be a board room discussion held online. Your task would be to play the role of a stakeholder and bring your best foot forward in an industry wide discussion with other stakeholders. More details regarding the same will be provided to the finalists at a later date.

Team Vista is proud to launch the flagship event “Numero Uno” – the hunt for the champion among champions. This battle of competencies will test participants on various managerial fronts with one goal – to bring out the future leader in them. With multiple rounds designed to test the participant's acumen, ability to think on the spot, management concepts and leadership qualities, only the best shall prevail! Bring forth your creativity, dynamic spirit, and communication skills. Showcase your aptitude on all fronts. Are you the “Numero Uno”?
Numero Uno is an individual event. The event will be conducted in multiple rounds to test knowledge across domains like management, leadership, strategy with the ability to think on their feet.
Round 1: Differentiation

Round 1 will be an objective quiz on D2C designed to test knowledge across domains like finance, marketing, strategy, operations, and human resources acumen in a time-bound scenario.
The Winner and Runner Up of the Quiz will be awarded Cash Prizes.
Round 2: Leadership
Limited perceptions shouldn’t define us. Can you identify all the stakeholders and add value to the value chain?
The shortlisted participants from Round 1 will qualify for Round 2 which will comprise a case-based submission wherein the candidates strategize an action plan for the given stakeholders.

The participants must carefully read through and agree to the following Terms & Conditions:
- All decisions in matters of eligibility, authenticity, and final judgments will be with the organizing committee of Vista, Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. The format and structure of events on campus could be subject to change before the actual beginning of the event.
- The decisions of the organizers will be final and binding on all participants.
