Pitch Please: Stages and Timelines
Entrepreneurship Quiz
Registered teams will take a quiz of 20 mins. The round will consist of 20 questions on famous entrepreneurs, startups, and ideas that either revolutionized the world or crashed hard.
The Elevator Pitch
The qualified teams have to make a 90-120 second video on their Idea that would convince the judges to give their business idea a chance. The content of the video is up to the creativity of the teams: They can share a slide and explain or record themselves talking about their idea and so on. The Startup Idea could be from any domain. The format of submission should be in MP4 format.
The Final Pitch
The final pitch where finalists will have to build a pitch deck of 10 slides (or less) where they explain their idea/product, the business model, their revenue model, and the team in 15 minutes (8-minute presentation + 7-minute Q&A). The top three will be selected by the judges.

Description of Event: This event will check your Entrepreneur skills, it has an entrepreneurship quiz, elevator pitch & final pitch to the investors.

Prize Money: INR 20,000; INR 15,000; INR 10,000
Rules:
- There is no limit on the number of teams that can participate from a single institute.
- Students across any year of the flagship programs can be part of one team.
- The format and rules of events are subject to change before the start of the event.
- Only the team leader, the person who registered the team, will be able to attempt the online quiz.
- All decisions regarding eligibility and final judgment shall rest with the Startups@SME, SME-IIT Jodhpur.
Structure:
- Round 1 - Entrepreneurship Quiz:
- The round will consist of 20 questions on famous entrepreneurs, startups, and ideas that either revolutionized the world or crashed hard.
- Number of questions - 20
- Duration - 20 minutes
- Round 2 - The Elevator Pitch:
- The qualified participants have to make a 90-120 second video on their Idea that would convince the judges to give their business idea a chance.
- The team should upload their video in drive and mail the link to startups_sme@iitj.ac.in, subject of the mail should be "Pitch Please_Team Name_College Name"
- Round 3 - The Final Pitch:
- The final pitch where finalists will have to build a pitch deck of 10 slides (or less) where they explain their idea/product, the business model, their revenue model, and the team in 15 minutes (8-minute presentation + 7-minute Q&A). The top three will be selected by the judges.
- Presentation - 10 Slides
- Duration - 8 Minutes PPT + 7 Minutes Q&A
