The Shock Market - A finance and investment competition : Stages and Timelines
Online Trading
You will be required to trade on a virtual trading platform. Top 15 teams with maximum Portfolio Value will move to the next round.
Auction
The Qualifying teams will enter the round with the capital they have left from the elimination round. Some companies will be there up for auction.
Virtual Stock Room
In this round, the teams will invest to acquire the ownership of various companies from the auction and trade amongst each other. The aim will be to build maximum wealth and acquire majority stake in companies to increase the portfolio value.

Rules:
- Teams can comprise a maximum of 2 members.
- Cross-College teams are allowed.
- An institute can have any number of teams participating.However, if a team member is found participating as a part of more than one team, all such teams shall be disqualified.
Prizes:
- Winner- Certificate of Excellence + Voucher worth Rs. 4,000 for each team member + 20% discount coupon of Younity
- First Runner Up- Certificate of Excellence + Voucher worth Rs. 2,000 for each team member + 20% discount coupon of Younity
- Second Runner Up- Certificate of Excellence + Voucher worth Rs. 1,000 for each team member + 20% discount coupon of Younity
- Top 10 teams will get a Certificate of Merit
- All Participants will be awarded with Participation Certificate, 10% discount coupon of Younity and 15% off discount coupon of Bewakoof.com
