Young Leaders' Summit

Young Leaders’ Summit brings together the corporate leaders and young minds who aspire to become future business leaders.

The delegates will take part in a week-long online summit which provides them a peek into the corporate world, its challenges and lets them experience management tools and techniques. The delegates get a chance to interact and learn from IIM Bangalore’s renowned faculty, participate in workshops and interact with corporate leaders.

The forum also gives a glimpse into the life of an MBA graduate and will help students make an informed decision about their career. The event is scheduled for 2nd August 2021 - 8th August 2021, in virtual mode.

1. YLS Sessions:

Speaker Series-

• Participants will get the opportunity to interact with renowned speakers from a host of domains including, but not limited to, business, politics, media, social welfare. These talks will be engaging, inspirational, informative and are sure to leave the participants with food for thought!

Faculty Workshop-

• Workshops on communication, business, corporate ethics and much more, held and run by IIM Bangalore's famed faculty! These workshops will aid participants to take the first step into their futures by equipping them with some of the skills they'd need.

Case Study Workshop and Competition-

• Learning through case studies is a pedagogical method widely adopted in business schools worldwide. What are case studies, how do you solve them, what are the insights they bring and finally, how does one present them? These are some of the questions that will be answered through hands-on experience of the case-based approach at the YLS workshop.  

Domain-Specific Fireside Chat-

• To get a holistic view of MBA life & beyond, domain-specific fireside chats by current MBA students will be held through the summit. These are aimed at giving Young Leaders a glimpse into the world of studying finance, marketing, consulting, general management & product management through an informative yet fun & informal lens!

Business Simulation-

• Step into the shoes of a decision-maker and feel the risk, excitement, and rigor of the business world through a fun, interactive computer simulation - a real-time game based on the principles of strategy, finance, and operations. This simulation game is a chance to put to use, all the learnings YLS has to offer over the 7 days!

2. Registration Process:

Candidates willing to participate in YLS need to register on our partner platform, Dare2Compete. They need to fill out the registration form. The registration form contains a few questions which will help us assess and evaluate you on various parameters.

• Registration Opens- 16^th June, 12:01 AM
• Registration Deadline- 15^th July, 11:59 PM

The shortlist for delegates will be released in third week of July and all the short-listed delegates will be invited for the Young Leaders’ Summit at Vista 2021. The delegates will confirm their seats by paying the Registration fees of INR 1200. The opportunity will move on to the waitlisted candidates until all seats are filled.

3. Rules & Regulations:

• The event is open to all students pursuing an undergraduate degree in any field across India and abroad.
• YLS 2021 has a limited number of seats and candidates will be selected through a screening process.
• This is an individual event, a candidate should apply in their capacity.
• Team Vista 2021 will hold absolute discretion regarding any disputes in case they arise, and their decision will be final and binding.
• Refrain from indulging in malpractices, the questions are to know the candidate better and gauge their interests.
