Create a short film on any subject of your choice and submit your entry to win an exciting prize.

Details:

• Theme - Participants can submit the film on any subject of their choice.
• Minimum length of short film - 300 seconds
• Maximum length of short film - 600 seconds
• Ensure that there are no watermarks or borders in your videos.
• Any equipment can be used.
• If any language audio is used within the video, English subtitles must be included.
• Entries will be considered only if a participant has followed the Instagram page Focus.

How to submit your entry:

• Participants must upload their entry as an unlisted video on YouTube and share the URL to the unlisted video through Unstop. Follow the below steps to upload an unlisted video to YouTube -
  • Sign in to your YouTube account.
  • Go to your 'My Videos' page.
  • Select your short film entry submission to be uploaded.
  • Click the 'Edit' button to access the video’s settings.
  • Go to the privacy section of the page. There you’ll see the option to mark your video as “unlisted”, “public”, or “private”. Select unlisted.
  • Don’t forget to click the save changes button. Once you’ve done this your video will be unlisted.
  • Once your video is successfully uploaded, copy the URL to the video and submit the URL through Unstop.

Submission Rules and Guidelines:

• Entry is limited to original works for which the entrant holds all applicable rights.
• Only one video can be submitted.
• Entries and the persons depicted therein are restricted to works for which the entrant holds the copyright or for which the entrant has received the prior usage permission of the right holder.
• Before submitting a work, the entrant is responsible for taking all steps necessary to protect the right of publicity and other rights of persons depicted in the work, including but not limited to obtaining their permission, to avoid any problems related to the infringement of these rights.
• Entrants are responsible for the resolution of any legal issues arising from their submitted works and agree to pay any costs thereby incurred.
• Entries including any content from the following may be disqualified at the organizer’s discretion -
  • Content that infringes on any laws, or is defamatory or libelous
  • Content that constitutes or encourages criminal behaviour leads to civil liability, or that otherwise violates any laws
  • Commercial content that promotes any products or services
  • Content in which animals were harmed or abused in the making of said content
  • Content that infringes on the copyrights, trademarks, contract rights, or any other intellectual property rights of any third person or entity (whether individuals or companies), or violates any person’s rights of privacy or publicity, including -
    • Trademarks owned by third parties (examples - billboards or signs on a street)
    • Materials protected by third-party copyrights (including movie dialogue or musical compositions)
    • Names, likenesses, voices, or other characteristics identifying celebrities or other public figures
    • Entries containing screen credits
