Hero MotoCorp Limited is hiring for the role of Senior Engineer – Proprietary Parts Benchmarking (Mechanical)!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Cost and reverse engineer competitor two-wheeler parts to get the actual cost of the part
- Contribute to competitor vehicle data analysis and identify the potential areas of optimization
- Deploy System data updating and retrieval
- Ensure Quality & Delivery
Requirements:
- Qualification: B.Tech. (Mech)
- Key Process manufacturing, Reverse engineering, Cost assessment, Idea generation
- Communication, MS Office, CATIA, Teamcenter
- Decision making, Innovation & Creativity, Planning & Organizing, Parts procurement
- Problem Solving, Analytical, Project Management, mfg process and Costing Knowledge
- Knowledge of the Key manufacturing processes
- Should understand Process and the Machines/Equipment used for manufacturing of parts
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Part drawing reading fits and Tolerances
- Part Visual Inspection; taking measurements; adjusting and re-programming controls
- Knowledge of Zero-based Costing and Cost Re-Engineering
- Data generation and analytics
- Knowledge of Engine and Transmission Assembly and Disassembly particularly
- Knowledge of Engine and Transmission Systems
- Knowledge of the development of Engine parts will be additional advantage
- Should have knowledge of Mechanical Proprietary parts – Engine and Transmission, Chassis (Suspension System, Brake System)
