Hero MotoCorp’s recently unveiled Vision, to Be the Future of Mobility not only will be expressed in the upcoming Products line-up but also through NextGen sales and after-sales experience co-existing with the current stores. These stores will target Millennials & Gen Z who typically exhibit values such as:
- Grandeur - “Even on the busiest of days, can you make sure that I as the consumer can truly experience every little detail of the retail experience without making any compromises”
- Exclusivity & Differentiation - the Highest level of service, differentiated with the experience
- Tech forward - to enhance the convenience of buying & service experience, the “Aha” impact…mix of digital & real
- Authenticity & trust - Reflecting authenticity, trust & transparency in the entire experience…even in the design of the showroom
- Customer centricity - “Am I the most important person for you?”
- Personalization - “Can you empower me with Options, Options and Options?”
- Minimalistic & Intuitive - Minimalistic & intuitive designs…more visual, less clutter, less artistic…more natural, less is more, the majority believe sales process should take less time
- Soulful communities - “We don’t buy into products but a larger cause”…” beyond physical product…the experience of personalization to suit community needs”

Challenge Brief
THE TASK: Design Next Gen Hero MotoCorp Premium Showroom
⮚ Use your imagination and creativity to design a Next-Gen Premium showroom for Hero Motocorp
⮚ Key Deliverables:
- 3D Render of the interiors & exteriors of Next Generation Premium showroom along with customer journey
- Alternative name of the new retail format
⮚ Boundary Conditions:
- Different & more premium from the existing Hero MotoCorp’s stores
- Showroom size between 1,000 sq. ft to 1,800 sq ft w/ 1 Level
- Target Customers: Millennial & Gen Z (18 - 35 Years)
- These will to be equipped with Sales, Service, and Spare
- Should be easily scalable model from design & cost view point
⮚ What will the Store Sell:
- 10-12 upcoming two-wheelers across 3-4 Segments i.e. Performance, Adventure/Touring, Electric Mobility
- For display, participants should consider a minimum of 1-2 Bike/ segment
- Accessory & Merchandising
⮚ Participant’s choice
- Engagement activities to increase the footfall
- A premium showroom can be fully digital w/ contactless elements vs. experience of touch and feel Coffee area, Sitting area or discussion area
- Washroom & Changing room – Anywhere in the store
⮚ Competition Stages
- Submission Round
- Participants need to submit a Four-minute video - Explaining the 3D Render of the Interior and exterior of the showroom w/ Customer Journey
- The alternate name of the next-generation premium showroom
- Virtual Presentation Round
- Selected Candidates will get an opportunity to present their solutions virtually to Hero MotoCorp
- Selected Candidates will get an opportunity to present their solutions virtually to Hero MotoCorp
- Results Announcement
Challenge Guidelines
- Participants can be in a team size of 1, 2, or max 3
Round #1 Submission
- Teams will be required to submit a 3D Render of their proposed solution
- Teams are also required to submit a <4 min video describing their idea.
- Teams must keep in mind the ease of implementation of the solution in the current scenario and NOT consider the futuristic scenarios while working on the case study.
Guidelines for Video
- The video should be in .mp4 format only.
- The file size of the video should not exceed 15MB.
- No special characters in the video file name apart from _ (underscore)
Virtual Presentation
- Teams shortlisted for Round 1 need to submit their detailed presentation before the start of this round.
- Teams will get an opportunity to present their solutions virtually to the Senior Management of Hero MotoCorp Limited.
- Each team will get 10 minutes to present and 5 mins for Q&A (A total of 15 minutes). 4. All the important details will be shared with the shortlisted teams via email.
